Who we are
Unity4Her is a grassroots, women-led NGO based in Somalia. We were established by Somali women who recognized the urgent need to place women's leadership, rights, and resilience at the center of national development. Our work is anchored in the belief that women are not passive recipients of aid, but key leaders and drivers of transformation.
Somali women have continuously sustained communities in times of conflict, drought, and instability, yet remain under-represented in governance, resource allocation, and decision-making. Unity4Her exists to change that. We bring Somali women and girls from the margins to the center, equipping them with the tools, opportunities, and platforms to lead in socio-economic development, politics, human rights advocacy, and climate action.
